What are Tropical Freshwater Fish

Some people refer to them as freshwater and some refer to them as tropical, However, Tropical Freshwater fish are beautiful, colorful fish that are originally from tropical  areas where the waters stay a little warmer typically 74-82°F (23-28°C).  They are easy to care for and are very popular amongst aquarium enthusiasts. 

Even though these are all tropical freshwater fish, they cannot all live together because some are very docile and some are considered semi-aggressive. It is important to always make sure all your fish are carefully matched with the correct tank mates for them to live happy together.
