Acclimation is the process of conditioning your pets to their new environment so they are less stressed and less likely to get sick or, giving them the best chance of a successful transition. It helps them adjust to water changes like temperature, ph, nutrients and other chemical changes.
Float method:
Simply float the bag in the aquarium for approx. 20 to 30 minutes, this allows for the water to get to the same temperature as the aquarium water. Then open the bag and dip the fish out with a net and put them in the tank.
For a little added security, once you open the bag dip a little of the tank water out and add it to the bag in small amounts for a few minutes to allow the fish to adapt to chemical changes in the water.
